Welcome back to The Dynasty Cafe for the twelfth edition of the ☕️Bi-Weekly Brew, where I provide some special blends for YOUR specific build. Be sure to try out the previous Brew if you missed it! We got spicy last time, breaking down some trades for both Drake London and Bijan Robinson.
Today, we finish up our trip through the NFC South and talk about the Chicago Bears of the South: the New Orleans Saints. Like the Bears, people in the fantasy community (including myself) are excited to see what magic this team can produce. They’ve got one of the best offensive minds in the game calling the shots in Kellen Moore, along with an electrifying offense consisting of Chris Olave, Jordyn Tyson, Tyler Shough, and the newly acquired Travis Etienne. They have all the pieces to produce loads of fantasy points for managers. Will they live up to the expectations? I want any piece of this offense I can get. Let's talk about some guys I’m hitching my wagon to.

Tyson was the 8th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and my WR2 just behind Makai Lemon. Tyson has all the makings of a star WR. He transferred to Arizona State and put up 1100 yards as a junior. However, he missed most of 2024 and some of 2026 with injuries, which is why I had him behind Lemon. If you pop on the highlights, you can see he has superstar potential if he can stay healthy (I had him comped to Jefferson as his ceiling).

The case for Tyson is a lot like the case I made for Makai Lemon in the ☕️ Bi-Weekly Brew: Philadelphia Eagles Edition. I expect him to start slow as he learns the offense and adjust to the speed of the NFL. Unlike Makai, I love this landing spot for Tyson. He plays in the fastest offense in terms of pace of play, per teamrankings.com. More plays = more chances to produce. While he may be stuck behind Olave for the time being, Olave has shown a tendency to get injured. There’s a pathway for major usage for Tyson should Olave go down. Since he’s a rookie, he fits more on a rebuilding team. However, he’s a good stash for later in the season for a contender that can be unleashed as the season.
Let's take a look at what it takes to acquire Tyson, courtesy of Sharp Tracker:
There's probably some better ways you can spend a 2027 first but as a contender, I'm ok making this deal. It cost owners an early 2026 first to acquire him in rookie drafts, so I would expect to pay a 1st+ to trade for him. I'm thinking a first and a third is a good starting point. He has the talent to be worth two firsts, but the injuries knock his value down a little for me. I'm willing to pay one first, and would add a slight plus to get Tyson onto my contending team with the intent of letting him sit on my bench for a few weeks while he gets adjusted to the league.
Let's check in on a rebuilding move for Tyson
This one is less about the name and more about the principle: take your aging WRs and roll them into younger investments. You're getting six years younger going from Smith to Tyson. Will Devonta outscore Tyson this year? Most likely. However, to quote the intro of the show Whose Line Is It Anyway?: "everything is made up and the points don't matter"! What Tyson produces for a rebuilder doesn't matter. Let Tyson take his time carving out a role in the offense while addressing other team needs. When you're ready to win, there's a chance he's THE GUY in New Orleans. I'd do this same move for older WRs like AJ Brown, Tee Higgins, and even Nico Collins. In all scenarios, I'd try to get a little something else on top just to maximize my return, such as adding a 3rd round pick onto my aging WR to get a 2nd round pick included with Tyson. ☕️Espresso Shot: Oscar Delp☕️
For rebuilders wanting a cheap piece of the Saints' offense, look no further than rookie TE Oscar Delp. Delp was overshadowed by Brock Bowers for a bit at Georgia, but he flashed his ability when he got on the field. The Saints didn’t use insignificant draft capital on him either, drafting him in Round 3.

Tight ends are prime candidates for taxi squads as they take a few years to really enter their primes. He’s also in a fantasy friendly offense, so if he gets a chance, expect results. According to an article by Michael Fabiano on SI.com, TEs in Kellen Moore offenses have finished as the TE11 (Witten), TE11 (Schultz), TE3 (Schultz), TE10 (Schultz), TE22 (Everett), TE27 (Goedert missed 7 games), and TE8 with Juwan Johnson. Delp is the most athletic of the bunch. If he can get on the field, he has the potential to be another dangerous weapon in the Saints offense. Acquire him for cheap while he is stuck behind Juwan Johnson, who only has two years left on his contract and is approaching 30.
In the same fashion as our ☕️ Espresso Shot ☕️ from the Falcons Zachariah Branch, Delp is easiest to acquire as a throw in piece for a trade. I wouldn't do this exact trade, but I would do something similar:
This one is close, but I'd want the 3rd with Delp if I could get it. If I couldn't get the 3rd rounder, I'd look to just do the swap one for one. Dulcich is getting a lot of hype on social media, but isn't someone worth holding onto if you're rebuilding. Get the young dart throw in the offensive scheme that has been shown to produce low end TE1s at a 60% clip. Look to do this move for other aging TEs that may be stuck on your roster like Njoku, Dalton Schultz, and Kelce. For Njoku and Schultz, I'd be ok doing the trade one for one, though I'd prefer a late round pick if I could get it. For someone like Kelce, I'd for sure want a pick with Delp. I wouldn't make the move one for one at this time.
☕️The Dark Roast: Travis Etienne☕️
Travis Etienne has shown an ability to produce for fantasy teams, providing two Top 10 overall finishes in his career. Last year, he came in at RB10, providing four weeks inside the Top 10, with two coming in the Top 5. It wasn’t a flashy 2025 campaign for Travis, but it was consistent, scoring double digits in all but four games.

Fresh off a new deal, he enters into the best situation of his career. According to the Fabiano article mentioned above, Kellen Moore has produced a Top 10 fantasy RB FOUR TIMES since 2019: Zeke ‘19-’21, Pollard ‘22, and Saquon in ‘24. Etienne only has to fend off 31 year old Alvin Kamara, a player who has had issues staying healthy throughout his career. Expect a heavy workload for Travis. I expect Kamara to take some touches from Etienne, but not enough to make a difference. Go get Etienne and watch him rack up the points in one of the most exciting offenses in football.
Here's a trade I would look to workshop to get Etienne on my contending team:
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I want guarantees from my players if I'm contending. It's guaranteed Etienne is leading this backfield. There's uncertainty with Chuba and Tuten. Does Chuba hold off Brooks? Can he return to his 2024 form? How much of a role does Chris Rodriguez play in Jacksonville, and how does that cut into Tuten's work? Of the offenses involved here, Etienne is likely in the best offense. I'm all for condensing some question marks into one certainty in my RB room.
For those managers that are just looking to move picks, I saw a variety of trades on Sharp Tracker involving Etienne for a future first, or Etienne for a future first and third. I'd be fine doing all these deals as well, unless it was for a 2027 first that had a very good chance to be in the Top 3. If I had an early 2027 first, I'd be moving that for someone better than Etienne.
